Mini Foot Tall Carvings are something that Robert really started selling in late 2007. Before that they were pretty much reserved for special occasions for his wife. Finally after years of people asking him to make them for sale, he finally did it. These are a few of what he has made so far. He is always looking for new ideas, so if you would like a one of a kind wood carving in this one foot size, just email him with your suggestion and see what he can come up with. All these little guys are done mostly with a chainsaw and then finished up with a dremel tool. $75-100.

Believe it or not bears were not Robert's first carvings, but he has sold more bears than anything else. Most styles can be made into almost any size, from the new minis ------------at one foot to the really big at 6 feet. She started out a six foot tall log, after many hours of chainsaw carving and even more hours of sanding, she became the shape of Jessica Rabbit. To bring her to life, Robert hand painted all the details: lips, clothing, hair, eye, shoes, etc... Her skin color has been left the natural color of the wood, which has some variation in color (shown in the pictures-knots, etc.). Her red dress has a lot of sparkle to it that does not show up well in the pictures. It does however show up wonderfully in either sunlight or indoor lighting. Jessica has been sprayed with several coats of polyurathane for a protective coating. She measures 70" tall and 135 lbs. This is carved from a single piece of wood-lodgepole pine-found right here in Wyoming. |

These little guys were always inside the wood waiting to get out. Robert just removed the unnecessary extras to reveal the face underneath. Wood Spirits range in size from 10 inches to 4 feet. On average, prices start at $25 and go up to $250. Make sure and check the FOR SALE page often as I will be updating it as new Wood Spirits are completed. |

An adventure in wood carving. Each is so very different. There are winding stairways, tunnels, cabins, mines, pillars of stone, doors and windows, each is unique. There is extreme detail, down to the nail holes in the board siding, window frames and rustic shingled roof. Your imagination can wander as you trace the steps of the tiny gnomes or fairies that live in these miniature homes. Sizes range from 12 inches to 7 feet. Prices range from $100-$2000. This skull was sculpted from a giant cottonwood tree. It used to be one of the huge shade trees in front of the "OLD" Lander Valley High School. |
